A fusion of touch, energy and awareness to restore ease and vitality. At Holistic Rising, our Trauma Release Treatment is a deeply integrative healing experience designed to address the physical, energetic and emotional imprints of trauma stored in the body. This unique approach weaves together multiple bodywork traditions and healing philosophies to release stagnant energy, restore mobility and support long-term wellbeing.
This treatment incorporates the flowing stretches, acupressure and compression techniques of Thai massage, which not only improve mobility, flexibility and circulation, but also work along the body’s meridian lines, as recognised in Traditional Chinese Medicine. These energy channels are believed to influence the flow of qi (life force), and by releasing blockages along these paths, the body can return to its natural state of harmony and vitality.
It also includes yogic healing practices, focusing on the energetic body to help release deeply rooted emotions held in specific areas. Through gentle exploration, we identify and begin to address the ‘seed’ of trauma — the underlying emotional or energetic root behind persistent tension or pain.
We further incorporate Raynor Massage, which works along the body’s energy lines to release blockages and revitalise the system. In parallel, we apply fascial release techniques to ease the connective tissue that protects and supports the nervous system. The fascia often holds trauma, tension and excess fluid — dense with hormones, chemicals, fat and emotional residue. By releasing these restrictions, we help settle the nervous system, clear stagnation and create a sense of internal spaciousness.
This treatment is particularly beneficial for those experiencing conditions related to long-held trauma such as autoimmune disorders, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, ADHD, PTSD and chronic fatigue or pain. It supports the release of trauma on a physical, mental and energetic level, guiding the body back towards balance.
Sports massage techniques are also integrated, helping to mobilise the limbs — especially smaller joints like the hands, wrists and ankles — making this therapy ideal for managing symptoms associated with arthritis and multiple sclerosis (MS).
Each session is intuitively guided and tailored to your individual needs, offering not just relief, but a profound return to wholeness, alignment and ease.
